Talk to us

Production halls, stations, conveyors and working heights have been designed for people for decades. A robot with human proportions enters that environment without rebuilding it - it reaches where a worker reaches and operates machines built for manual handling. The client does not adapt the plant to the robot, only the robot to the plant.

POLCERO - Industry

Challenges

What this industry is up against.

01

Labour shortage

Repetitive physical and cleanup work is ever harder to staff, and turnover keeps rising.

02

Fixed stations

Industrial robots are bolted to one spot and cannot keep up when the process changes.

03

Costly rebuilds

Automation usually means redesigning the hall around the machine, raising the barrier to entry.

04

Integration with existing machines

A new device must work with the machines the client already runs.

How we help

How POLCERO answers those challenges.

The robot drives up to the station

A humanoid on a mobile platform serves several stations instead of standing at one and closes the gaps between machines.

Two operations per cycle

A dual-arm layout with waist rotation raises station throughput on repetitive work.

Turnkey deployment

Design, build, integration, commissioning, documentation and service - from €2M, with conformity assessment.

POWER INFRASTRUCTURE

Grid power on the factory floor

A hall has power everywhere, so most robots need not carry it. We install fixed power rails along stations and let robots run straight off the grid — batteries become the backup for the ones that roam between machines.

01

Fixed rails at stations

Robots bolted to or serving a fixed station draw power over a rail and run 24/7 without a single swap.

02

Hot-swap for roamers

A humanoid that moves between machines carries three hot-swap packs and tops them up at a charging dock.

03

One integration

Rail power and battery power use the same core module — switch a robot from tethered to mobile without redesign.
